About Us
Who We Are
The club was started in 1981, and there are approximately 25 members from Pella and the surrounding areas. As business owners, employees or retired professional women we want to promote community service and encourage each other in personal and professional growth.
Each member in this diverse group contributes from their own background and experiences in assessing and meeting the needs of the Pella community.
The Program committee arranges for a variety of speakers and presentations each month.
Past programs have included Teen Challenge, Kinship and Dollars for Scholars.
What We Do
The ever popular Dutch Market during Tulip Time at West Market Park is our primary
fundraiser which in turn allowed us to help the community in 2009-10 as follows:
- Awarding scholarships to high school girls attending College
- Purchased a display shelf for the Chamber of Commerce Office
- Purchase Province flags for the Tulip Toren
- Donation of GPS to Pella Ambulance Service
- Donation to Crossroads to purchase pool passes for children/families
